costs are associated with Domestic Sprinklers |
| Spencer-Fire
domestic fire sprinkler systems are not expensive. There are other
associated costs that need to be taken into account when budgeting for
fire sprinklers. It is vitally important to note that, life, property
and possessions are worth considerably more than the cost of installing
fire sprinklers.
New Builds:
Costs are low, as installation is quick and an adequate
water supply can be designed in.
Retrofit:
Costs really do vary. The age of the property,
construction methods and the size of the mains water supply all affect
costs. Older properties were supplied with a small bore water pipe as the
only running water was a tap in the kitchen. Homes built since the
Seventies have had larger diameter pipes installed, thus negating the need
for a new water supply.

Fire sprinklers are difficult to try and give guide prices for. Each system is unique, and many factors must be considered before a price can be estimated.
The prices given above are just two examples that may or may not apply to your property. ALL of these installations were reasonably straight forward and had sufficient water pressure for us to connect directly to the town main.
Spencer-Fire conduct full site surveys before we give a final cost. Wherever possible we do not charge for this service, however occasionally we may charge for accommodation BUT this is refunded if you decide to order.
We are able to give a reasonably accurate estimate if plans are provided to us.
Spencer-Fire will still need to conduct a site survey before a final price is given.

DO NOT give any misleading prices such as the cost of a fitted carpet!. The best way to budget is to compare sprinklers to a quality central heating system, as the component and labour costs are comparable
